What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique that uses energy to promote healing by placing the hands in a series of positions over or slightly above the body. The word “rei” refers to a higher intelligence that permeates our mind, body and soul. The word “ki” refers to the nonphysical energy that flows through everything that is alive, known as the life force energy.

Reiki activates the relaxation response and helps the body to balance itself from a very deep level. It raises awareness in and around the physical body where we might experience stress, anxiety or physical pain. Reiki treats the body, emotions and mind creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Reiki provides the tools needed to lead a more capable and healthy lifestyle.

Private Sessions

Meet with Nicole or Alexis for a private 50 minute treatment. You will lay (clothed) on a comfortable table and guided into a meditative state while your practitioner assesses and corrects energy flow by gently laying her hands on your head, shoulders, abdomen, legs, and feet.
